Sophia & Jacob’s wedding was a heartfelt fusion of tradition, family, and celebration.

From custom-engraved chopstick favors to the symbolic red fortune letters on the doors, their day honored Taiwanese culture in the most meaningful way, even featuring a lively lion dance performance that had guests in awe.

“We were so blessed to have so much family and friends come together from all different parts of the United States — one couple even from Taiwan — to celebrate our marriage,” they shared. “It was truly a great time being surrounded by our loved ones and cutting loose on the dance floor.”

The Friday celebration gave them the full weekend to keep the party going, and with DJ Harlem of Harlem Events behind the booth, the dance floor stayed full all night long.

Sixteen 9 Films captured every joyful moment on video, preserving all the emotion, energy, and tradition woven throughout the day.
