Alexia & Shane | A Sun-Drenched October Wedding
There are wedding days that feel like they were designed by the season itself. Alexia and Shane’s October celebration was exactly that kind of day. Warm golden light, lush garden greenery, autumn mums lining the stone pathways, and two people completely and joyfully in love. Every frame from this wedding feels less like a photograph and more like a memory you can step into.
Alexia was a vision in an off-the-shoulder ball gown with sheer billowing sleeves and delicate floral lace across the bodice, her cathedral veil trailing behind her. She carried a stunning autumn bouquet of navy and dusty blue hydrangeas, creamy white blooms, dried wheat grasses, and a miniature white pumpkin at the center, a detail that felt personal, playful, and perfectly seasonal. Shane met her at the altar beneath a rustic wood pergola in a navy textured tuxedo and classic black bow tie, wearing a smile he clearly could not contain.
As the sun began its descent behind the Carolina pines, the two of them wandered out to an open field for portraits that stopped us in our tracks. Hand in hand against a wide open sky turning soft gold, and then forehead to forehead beneath her veil with light pouring through the tulle and Alexia smiling with her whole face.
A day this beautiful deserves a team just as talented. Sydney B Photography brought both artistry and genuine warmth to every frame, capturing the light and the feeling in equal measure. Thoughtful rental pieces from Curated Events Raleigh helped bring the overall vision to life, adding to the warm and elevated atmosphere that made this October celebration so memorable.
