When Wed Society Greater Raleigh hosted its wedding giveaway, a full team of local professionals collaborated to design and execute the entire event from ceremony to reception.
Planning, Design & Venue
Southern Skies Events handled the overall planning and event design, coordinating with host Wed Society Raleigh. The ceremony and reception took place at The Skyroom, an elevated venue providing the perfect setting for the day.
Ceremony Details & Styling
Reverend Kayelily Middleton led the ceremony, accompanied by live music from Wake Forest Violin. Dogs Like Ash managed pet care on-site so the couple’s pet could join the celebration, complete with custom treats from South Paw Treats.
The bride’s hairstyle was created by Jennifer Nicole Hair Design
Reception Design, Rentals & Lighting
The layout featured reception chairs provided by Country Tinker, table linens and napkins from Villa Mirabela, and structural rentals from Capital Events. Lavish Leaf designed the floral arrangements, while Nines & Co. supplied table candles. Southside Sugar Cake Co. crafted place cards for the seating setup, alongside printed paper materials from Just Ink & Thread.
Heron Events installed overhead market lights to illuminate the space beautifully.
Catering, Bar & Sweets
Food service was catered by Sassool, paired with mobile bar services from Wandering Waterhole Bar. Dessert included a custom wedding cake by Hannah’s Cake Zone alongside an interactive dessert cart set up by Onsite Delights.
Entertainment, Media & Evening Finale
Harlem Events provided DJ services for the dance floor.
Photography was led by Sunshine Sentiments Photo, with additional social content captured by Curated by Bliss. To conclude the evening, Brightwave FX produced a custom drone light show over the venue grounds.
